What is included
Calling that follows your people
Desk phone, laptop, and cell all ring on the same extension. Staff can work from the office, the truck, or home without handing out a personal number.
Business texting
Customers text your main number and the whole team can see and answer it. Not one person’s personal phone.
Video meetings
Included, not a second subscription. Same directory, same contacts.
Call queues and reporting
For teams that take volume: support, dispatch, scheduling, intake. Who is on a call, how long people wait, what got missed.
AI call notes
Automatic transcription and summaries, so the detail from a customer call does not live only in one person’s memory.
Nothing on your wall to fail
No card to replace, no vendor to outlive. Updates happen on the provider’s side.
Why RingCentral, and when we would say otherwise
Data Cross has been an authorized RingCentral partner since 2011 and is a Certified Delivery Partner, so we install what we sell. It is what we know best, it is stable, and it handles the small-business cases we see most: multiple locations, field staff, and teams that need call queues without buying a whole contact centre.
We are not religious about it. If your situation calls for something different, a heavy Microsoft Teams shop, a specific vertical integration, a budget that only supports a smaller footprint, we will say so. We would rather lose the sale than put you on the wrong platform for three years.
What we will not do is leave you on hardware nobody supports.

New to this? Start with what a cloud phone system actually is — how it differs from what you have, what your network needs, and when you should not move.
What it costs
Phone service is billed per user, per month, by the provider. Longer terms and larger user counts bring the per-seat price down, which is why we ask about headcount before quoting anything.
Our side is quoted separately: setup, porting, call flow build, handsets, and training as a one-time project cost. You get both numbers together before anything is signed. No hourly billing and no surprises after the fact.
Hardware is optional. If your staff work from laptops and cell phones, you may not need desk phones at all.
